4 Baby Items I Ordered From Amazon Right After Baby
The day after I gave birth, I was on my phone making a HUGE Amazon Prime order. As much as you may feel prepped and ready, things happen and sometimes your birth and delivery just isn’t what you thought it would be. And that’s okay! I had learned so much from the 4 days I had already been in the hospital, I knew there was baby stuff I was going to need!
Going into the hospital, I thought I’d breastfeed right away. I didn’t know that it takes a couple days for your milk to come in. I had no idea I’d be using formula but I was so okay with it. So, that is going to the number one item I added to my cart on Amazon. I ordered premade enfamil bottles. Expensive, but as a first time mama I needed all the help I could get so these were super convenient and it’s what the hospital used! So I felt like it was a safe pick.
Next up was swaddles. Oh my god the nurses are pros at swaddling and had to show my husband and I at least 5 times how to swaddle. We ordered just swaddle blankets at first but what I’m about to link here are the ones we used for SO LONG. They were great and so easy to use. It was like a swaddle for dummies, or a swaddle for a mama who’s beyond tired at 3am. Either way – swaddles were added to my cart on Amazon.
Next thing I added was something I just completely didn’t think about because I have this picture in my mind about breastfeeding and washing bottles wasn’t something I thought of. So, here is a must have bottle washer that is super cheap and soooo helpful. Just get it! Great for a small gift too, it will really go a long way. Plus, if they already have one it’s good to have for traveling.
This next item is something I had never seen before or heard of. I didn’t know what cradle cap was until my son had it, pretty bad too. This cradle cap brush is a must. I struggled with my sons cradle cap and getting to to go away and this brush worked so well. Highly recommend.
