CareLuLu Helps Find The Best Daycare

Wow, what a stressful time for some parents. Choosing a daycare was one of those things that I kept putting off because of how stressful it was. Do you ever do that? Maybe it’s something you need to clean in the house or a task at work, but it’s so overwhelming that you just put it off for as long as possible. 

For my maternity leave I had 13 weeks off total. I think technically I was given 12 (not all paid, another topic for another time) but I took an extra week. I ended up finding a daycare 3 weeks before I went back. But in all honesty, I wasn’t going back til I found a daycare I liked and trusted. I could take off 4 weeks in addition to my 12 if I desperately needed to without being too financially stressed. So, a month before I was going back to work, to the internet I went. 

From the beginning, my husband and I knew a home daycare was probably what we’d like to do. My husband worked during the week, so me and my son went to visit daycares. I looked online and found carelulu.com. I actually saw it an ad on Facebook and I am so happy I found it. They do the background research for you and even go visit the daycares to make sure they are overall a safe environment. There are certain items and criteria they need to meet, making you feel so much more comfortable before you even make a visit!

I visited two places and the first I went to was one I found in my own and set up the appointment through the website. I went, she was nice, I wasn’t super excited about it but thought it would work if need be.

I left feeling sad because I didn’t get the “yes! This is the place we want!”. A few hours later I received a call from my CareLuLu rep. She was following up and asked how it went. I told her the truth and she asked if she could help me find more to see. I honestly thought she couldn’t help because she doesn’t know me or know what I’m looking for. I was so wrong. A few days later I went to my appointment and almost immediately knew that this daycare was the place for my son. I felt like I understood the teacher and you could tell she cared so much about the children. I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I was that I had this feeling of finding a daycare that I loved! I called my husband and told him I found the one. My next call was to CareLuLu and they booked my sons spot for this daycare. They handle everything including payments to the daycare. And just like that we found a daycare and I had now 3 weeks left to enjoy my maternity leave without worrying about daycare.
